Barnes Motors & Parts, a local automotive parts distributor asked Sam to finish installing a paint booth that one of their customers had bought and the manufacturer didn’t complete. After doing several of these type jobs for Barnes, Sam realized that he could manufacture them and install them more economically than the company he was following behind. Thus, the Paint Spray Booth Business was born.
In 1999, armed with a new business partner (Phil Sharitz) Sam changed the focus of SK Bowling, Inc. With an eye for the future, SK Bowling, Inc., has become the spray booth of choice for many different applications.
SK Bowling, Inc., is a world class, regional manufacturer of paint spray booths. Manufacturing, Installing, and Maintaining our Paint Perfect Spray Booth Systems, Spray booths, Mixing Rooms, and ventilation systems for customers located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia.
A milestone for the company was getting our products ETL Listed. Our Paint Booths and Mixing Rooms are ETL Listed. This means that the SK Bowling Company is one of a very few companies who manufacture their Products in the USA to have its product certified to be fabricated, constructed And installed to meet or exceed all Federal, State and Local Building Codes and NFPA 33 requirements.
Our products are constantly evolving to meet our customers needs.
Our new facility at the Wilson Industrial Air Center allows us to further improve our product and manufacturing capabilities.
